We were misled by this real estate agency. We rented an apartment for 2700 (Lindengracht 332), which they praised as recently renovated and beautiful. In reality, this apartment was dirty and disgusting. The walls had black mold everywhere, the furniture was broken, every corner of the apartment was dirty, worn out and disgusting. After confronting them with the problems, they started to lie and blamed my family members for 'not following the standard procedure', which was completely false. Eventually we had to hire a lawyer, but we got the deposit back, however we were still charged an extra €1350 by the greedy landlord who refused to take responsibility for his disgusting apartment.
