In our search for a good real estate agent in Amsterdam, we were recommended to contact Barry. After an initial conversation, we immediately felt confident in both Barry and Monique. Barry understood right away what we were looking for and advised us accordingly. Throughout the entire process, Barry was very involved and always open to all of our questions. Even after the offer was accepted, Barry continued to help us with the notary process and other matters. We are very happy with Barry and Monique and would definitely recommend them to everyone!

He is highly dedicated and will be honest in his opinion about the houses you visit. If it doesn't fit you, he will let you know. Also when helping make the decision to offer too much, which is quite common on this tight Amsterdam market, he is very aware and will tell you whether it's worth making a higher offer or not. He is extremely reliable, respectful, patient, and trustworthy.

Barry's help during the purchase of my first apartment was invaluable. He actively listened to my wishes and made sure he screened all apartments before showing them to us, which saved us time and energy. He came up with possibilities regularly even before I had seen them online. During viewings, he focused on all the small but important technical details so that I could concentrate on my overall impression of the apartments. He did not rush and even postponed the process several times due to details I had overlooked. Eventually, we found the perfect apartment for me in less than two months. Thanks to his market knowledge and negotiating skills, I got a great apartment at an excellent price without having to pay transfer tax. Finally, Barry checked all documents to ensure everything was in order, which was extremely important to me since I do not speak Dutch yet. Overall, I am very happy with Barry and can highly recommend him.
