Review
Very disappointing course of events. After a pleasant viewing on Friday, we were told that the property was “free”. We then indicated that we would come with an offer on Monday. On Monday, we made our offer, but afterwards the agent was completely unreachable. Upon inquiry at the office, it turned out that the property might have already been sold over the weekend, but they could not provide any clarity on this. The agent was supposed to call us back by 12:00 for clarification, which did not happen. Subsequently, it was promised again that contact would be made by 15:00 and later by 17:00, but both times there was no response at all. We used the weekend and Monday morning to carefully arrive at an offer, and we were in uncertainty all day Monday. If there had been multiple interested parties, an application procedure would have been the correct and transparent way to go. The failure to keep promises and the lack of clear communication we find completely unprofessional.
