Allereerst wekte hij heel veel vertrouwen door mij ervan te overtuigen dat het vooral van belang was over alles open te zijn, over achterstallig onderhoud, een onafhankelijk technisch rapport te laten opstellen, alle informatie die maar beschikbaar was (en waar hij naar vroeg via goed voorbereide uitvoerige vragenlijsten).Daarnaast had hij een goed beeld van wat huizen in deze omgeving als extra hadden bovenop de m2 prijs en hoe dat te verdisconteren. De voorgestelde vraagprijs werd door hem heel duidelijk binnen een onderhandelingskader gezet zodat ik wist hoe te (onder)handelen bij eventuele biedingen.Hij vroeg ook naar specifieke/speciale historie gegevens over het huis en verwerkte die kundig in een goed en aantrekkelijk verhaal om het huis een extra dimensie te geven.Bij de rondleidingen wist hij de juiste balans te vinden tussen aanprijzen, informatie verschaffen en de koper zijn eigen ooordeel te laten bepalen (volgens onze vertrouwde buren die in hun tuin gezeten de bezoeken deels konden volgen).Wat betreft de verkoopperiode was hij heel helder in het vaststellen van de periode voor bezoeken, en vervolgens in de tijd die beschikbaar was voor het uitbrengen van een bod, resulterend in een een uiterst snelle en soepele verkoop tegen een hogere opbrengst dan vooraf voor mogelijk was gehouden.
