I rent a studio from John on the Boschstraat. It is quite expensive, but when I moved in there was no cleaning of the entire studio. He promised to replace the toilet and sink when I moved in, but there were no follow-up actions. And when I moved out, I signed a contract stating that everything was in order. But regarding the deposit, he said that since I canceled my inspection visit on the same day due to emergencies, he wants to keep the deposit. I worked with him to schedule another visit, this time other visiting tenants did not show up. He always blames me for canceling the first time. Be careful about what he says, because in the beginning he will say yes to something and then take no further action. Very greedy.
