We had an excellent experience with Housing4You. As an international couple looking for a short-term housing solution in Maastricht, we were quite pessimistic due to the housing crisis and the popularity of the city. When John said it would definitely work out soon, we still weren't entirely convinced. But he was right; within just a few weeks, we signed a lease for a beautiful house in the city center. John was involved, communicated clearly and promptly, and was physically present wherever needed. This was our first time using an agent as a mediator, but it turned out to be a fantastic experience. Highly recommended!

I rent a studio from John on the Boschstraat. It is quite expensive, but when I moved in there was no cleaning of the entire studio. He promised to replace the toilet and sink when I moved in, but there were no follow-up actions. And when I moved out, I signed a contract stating that everything was in order. But regarding the deposit, he said that since I canceled my inspection visit on the same day due to emergencies, he wants to keep the deposit. I worked with him to schedule another visit, this time other visiting tenants did not show up. He always blames me for canceling the first time. Be careful about what he says, because in the beginning he will say yes to something and then take no further action. Very greedy.

I was unable to rent from John because he showed me that the landlord had chosen another tenant for the property. I asked John for further support to see if we could find another solution, and he was happy to help. I got the impression that he really cared about my concerns and genuinely tried his best to help me find a solution. This is why I would recommend contacting him if you are looking for accommodation: he is probably the only agent who is truly customer-oriented, always responds quickly, and is understanding. I will definitely contact him again in the future. Highly recommended!
