Bert Stadman and his son Kjeld, as well as Roelie in the office, have represented us very well during the sale of our house. When accepting the assignment, it was indicated that it would take about 2 months before the property would be sold; it actually took 2.5 months. So top job! They were also always reachable for any questions etc. In short, a great real estate agent!

We purchased the problem-free property at Dorpsstraat 19 in Gees, according to real estate agent Stadman Oosterhesselen, subject to a structural inspection. During the inspection, various defects, neglected maintenance, and undisclosed leaks were discovered. The repair costs are approximately β¬22,000. We proposed sharing this amount with the seller through the agent. Response from Stadman: No way, unless we would exempt the sellers from all future defects that may occur at the property. We saw this as a blank check and subsequently dissolved the purchase agreement. Tip for homebuyers from Stadman: Don't fall for it. Hire an independent structural engineer and do not have an inspection carried out by a contractor recommended by Stadman in the neighborhood.
