Before I actually wanted to start the selling process for my home, I asked online for an appraisal. Several real estate agents came over. The difference between Tom van Houtem from Dichtbij Vastgoed and the other real estate agents, whose names I will not mention out of courtesy, was immediately clear to me. This is a professional! He has heart for his business but also for the people around him. Tom van Houtem assessed both the value of my home as well as my personal situation accurately and quickly and came up with an extremely fitting strategy right away. Tom knows what he's talking about and is also very involved in my personal situation. Dichtbij Vastgoed is therefore a very fitting name. Close to the person. Apart from the above, I find it nice but certainly important to mention that Tom was also very flexible towards me. I am very grateful for this. Because I first wanted to find another home before selling my house, it took some time before my house actually appeared on Funda. Tom never said a bad word about the fact that he had invested quite a lot of time in total. He remained involved from start to finish. Also, the market changed in between, which led me to ask for an adjustment in the agreement. This he understood immediately and was no problem at all. It turned out that Tom wanted to help me above all else. Even when the sale was stalled because the buyers withdrew their offer, Tom kept going and eventually sold my home for even more than expected. Extremely satisfied and grateful, a real recommendation!!
