I came across Tom as a selling agent. Now, that was a refreshing change from all the other agents on the market. As a starter, it's very difficult in this overheated housing market, and the bidding procedures most (larger) agencies handle make it even harder, since you're competing against yourself. Tom, however, took a personal approach: Do you like the house? Make an offer, then I'll put that down with the seller, and if the seller finds it a good offer, there's price agreement; no back-and-forth or waiting for others to outbid after that. Also in the follow-up contact after the price agreement, Tom was very correct, clear, and well-reachable. All in all, a pleasant experience amidst a crazy market.
