We had quickly found a home ourselves but thanks to Laurien we didn't take it. Fortunately, because that wasn't the house we were looking for. She helped us look for a place and we soon found one. What a beautiful home, we were sold immediately. Laurien handled the negotiations for us and did an excellent job. Additionally, she brought up several points to break through our rose-colored glasses, such as plans by Rijkswaterstaat to build high-voltage towers, road expansions in the neighborhood that could cause traffic congestion, and a few other issues. Fortunately, these turned out not to be problems but they easily could have been. Imagine living under a high-voltage tower with your rose-colored glasses on and being glad you have a good real estate agent who warns you about such things. If I were to compare her to other real estate agents you encounter when selling your home, there is really a difference. A more driven, knowledgeable, and technically savvy real estate agent will be hard to find. She thinks along with you and will certainly inform you if you shouldn't do something. That spot might have moisture issues, pay attention to that crack in the wall, the heating system is outdated and would cost ten thousand euros to replace. Things you wouldn't think of or simply don't see because you don't know what to look for. And furthermore, she is always reachable and ready to help if there are any questions. If I ever move again, I will definitely choose Laurien as a buyer's real estate agent again. Not the standard real estate agent that everyone is alike, but the best in Almere!
