I got to know Joek as the real estate agent who sold me the house where I now live. He wasn't hired by me, but if I ever sell my house again, that's what I would do. Joek connects with people; he is genuinely interested in their experiences and when he looks at a home, he sees the person living there. Joek also has an eye for how to photograph houses well, highlighting the beautiful views that make the house worthwhile. So trust him if he wants to move some things around! His stubbornness is something you either love or not (I do). Don't expect a run-of-the-mill suited real estate agent, but rather a man who sets a home on the market with love and creativity and goes to great lengths to make the sale enjoyable for both parties.

It was a pleasant search together with Joek. Initially, I was looking for an agent for Amsterdam-Noord and ended up contacting Joek through a mutual acquaintance. He takes the time to understand your needs during an intake meeting and listens carefully to what you are looking for, which led us to the greenest district of Amsterdam. It's wonderful to have space and plenty of nature. Take some time to have a cup of coffee with Joek; everything else will fall into place naturally.

A'dam Good Story lives up to its name. When buying my apartment at Gaasperplas, Joek van Voorbergen was honest and helpful. The location is great, but he was frank about the building and the challenges. This allowed me to make a conscious and well-considered choice to live on the edge of the Bijlmer, just inside Amsterdam Zuidoost. Thanks for the good guidance.

During this call, I was surprised by the enthusiasm of the real estate agent and the time he took to answer my questions and provide advice. Even more remarkable is that this conversation took place on a Friday evening well after 6:00 PM. His role as a sales agent changed into that of a buyer's agent after our introduction. To our surprise and delight, this quickly resulted in a purchase and a lovely apartment, it's A'dam Good Story. Last week we received the keys to a delightful maisonette where Joek shared in all our joy. It was great working and communicating with this man. Thank you again for everything!
