"Hello Rui, We are very disappointed to see that you rate us with one star and are not fair about your situation. You have NOT paid your last month's rent and the deposit. Then you left the room in poor condition. You smoked throughout your entire stay, although we, the landlord, and the contract you signed did not allow this. The studio smells very bad and needs to be cleaned and repainted. You did not take responsibility for these matters. That is the true story!"

*Efficient, responsive, supportive* I had the pleasure of working with Tim and Khaled from Lightcity Housing. I rented a studio at Van Kinsbergenstraat 13, paid the deposit and rent for August 16-31. Due to certain events, however, I had to terminate my contract. Nevertheless, the people from Lightcity Housing were more than helpful, guiding me through the entire process and returning my deposit as soon as the new tenant signed the contract. To put it mildly, Lightcity Housing is a reliable real estate agency; I can highly recommend them, and they will definitely be my first port of call when looking for a rental property in Eindhoven.

So I got a tour of a place and thought I would get it, but that didn't happen. Three weeks later the place came up again. On Monday (when it was still new), I called them and told them I am ready to move since I already had a tour. They asked me to come for another tour on Thursday because they wanted to choose from a group of people. They said they would send me all the details. I only got an email Tuesday, so I followed up again on Wednesday and found out it was already rented. If I don't get a place, why should I still give them hope?
