Open and honest, that is how I experienced Houtman & de Vogel. No slick talk, just stating the facts. Sometimes there were periods when nothing was happening in the market, then it was also quiet from Houtman & de Vogel. It would have been nice to hear something occasionally. But, if you called yourself, they were always ready to think along or came by to take new photos. Nothing was too much! Thanks for everything!!!

Door fouten van de makelaar 4.5 maand te laat met sleutel overdracht. Mogen verbouwen ter wel verkopen de partij van niks wist en dit ook niet wilde. Vordering moesten we horen via onze eigen notaris.

Commercial people who give you the impression they are going to sell your house. So far, everything is fine. As soon as you appear in the newspaper for the Open House route, you suddenly live in a maisonette with combined rooms and extensive built-in appliances. Well, I have a refrigerator!!! Speechless, they were. The next advertisement would be worth paying for. Guess three times!! Invoice on the doormat. In another ad, I also lived on the first floor (instead of third). Eventually, you mention that it's wrong on Funda as well, but it is not corrected or checked and you have to go there specially. To get your house listed with them for sale, you almost have to do everything yourself. They don't give advice either. I had to get that from another real estate agent. Appointments they don’t keep and in the end, you still have to pay for all the trouble and receive a normal invoice, while it was stated that we would come out of it (twice). The invoice was already made and shortly after they told the notary that this had yet to be done. Ultimately, you must sell at a much lower price and during the transfer, you have to tell the real estate agent how the settlement should go. Totally unprepared or perhaps lacking knowledge. I don’t know what their reason is for not being an NVM (Dutch Association of Realtors) member, but given the experiences, they can't even become one. Paying to endure misery. Advice… well, it's self-evident.
