I’ve bought and sold several apartments over the years, and I can honestly say this was the best experience I’ve ever had with a real estate agent. Joek is truly not your average agent.First, the way he showcases and transforms an apartment is exceptional. From the styling to the photography, everything is done with such care and taste that the home genuinely looks spectacular. It immediately sets the listing apart.Second, his work ethic is outstanding. Communication was effortless, relaxed, and incredibly responsive — often via WhatsApp, without any sense of a 9-to-5 mentality. Joek is fully there for you, always available, proactive, and on top of every detail.What really stood out to me, though, was how attentive and thoughtful he is as a person. Even on key-handover day, he went the extra mile with small gestures — a lunch, a gift — things that made the entire process feel personal and genuinely cared for. Over the course of a few weeks, he became much more than just a real estate agent; he was someone to think things through with and fully trust.Joek has deep knowledge of the Amsterdam housing market, and that expertise shows at every step. It was a fantastic experience from start to finish, and I would wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone looking to sell their home.
