It has been a year now, but I realized that I haven't written a review at all. For Joost, I gladly pick up the pen because he is really an excellent real estate agent! He perfectly guided me through the entire process of buying my first home from start to finish, immediately understood what I was looking for and was critical when necessary. Joost knows every corner of East like the back of his hand; you should be there too!

Straight to the point, a top performer. Joost quickly gets on board and understands what you really need right away. That's essential in the overheated market in Amsterdam. By swiftly switching between the mortgage advisor and Joost, an offer could be made at the sharpest end of the market! So, definitely a top performer

Joost is an incredibly fine real estate agent. He is competent both technically and procedurally. He helped me sell my apartment, something that initially didn't seem too complex but turned out to require a lot more finetuning and timing. He has a good understanding of the market and knows exactly what he's talking about. It's really pleasant how he guides you through such a process, which isn't something you do every day. Ultimately, he is exceptionally honest and still manages to be funny too. It's a bit boring now, but I can't give him anything other than 5 stars. I simply can't think of anything he didn't handle optimally.

Joost has helped us very well throughout the entire process of buying our house. Joost took his time for us and was always reachable for questions. Additionally, it wasn't a problem for Joost to work quickly; thus, we were able to complete the purchase process in just five (!) weeks after viewing our dream home. In short, if you're looking for an agent who takes the time for you and works efficiently, then you've come to the right place with J-oost!

If you are still unsure about an estate agent, do not be. Joost is really a very good and reliable estate agent who achieves great results. We are incredibly happy with how well Joost guided us throughout the entire sale of our home and thought much more about us than we dared to hope for. Our situation was quite complex but Joost was always there for us, took his time to discuss everything thoroughly, and looked for solutions. Another big plus is that Joost is also very reliable in returning calls, something we missed with other estate agents. We never had to call back; most of the time Joost would answer immediately or call back quickly. And an addition from my husband: “Joost has a good sense of humor.” Something that is not unimportant either 😅 If we were to describe Joost in two words, it would be “honest and reliable.”

Buying a house is an incredibly messy and chaotic phase of your life that comes with a huge amount of stress. The minute we involved Joost in our purchase he was an oasis of calm and structure. His guidance in the final steps of the process was invaluable, for example when Joost did a close reading of the many (legal) documents you are expected to read. Having him there gave us the space not to worry about it so much and actually enjoy the moment of buying a house! In hindsight I wish I had involved J-OOST from the start!

Joost is an expert, passionate and involved real estate agent. He is straightforward, honest, authentic and works accurately. Has his affairs well in order and acted proactively throughout the process. Gave good advice and clear explanations. Was also very reachable and willing to answer all questions as thoroughly as possible. Even when something did not go smoothly on the buyer's side, he showed his true value. His knowledge, proactivity and perseverance were of great value during those difficult moments. Nice collaboration overall and we heartily recommend Joost as a real estate agent if you want to sell your house!

Joost is een fantastische en betrouwbare makelaar die ik iedereen van harte kan aanbevelen! Hij luistert goed naar je wensen en denkt goed met je mee waarbij hij altijd eerlijk en objectief probeert te blijven. Hij is voor mij onmisbaar geweest in mijn zoektocht naar een appartement in Amsterdam en kijk terug op een hartstikke leuke en geslaagde zoektocht! Dank Joost!!

At first I did not see the point of a purchasing advisor, but my beloved was very persistent, so be it. Joost has saved us from a bad purchase. All I can say is that Joost has proven to be an extremely competent purchasing advisor.
